A native of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Tom majored in communications and media studies in college. He runs and has an interest in healthy cooking, especially sous-vide cooking. Tom and Bark Lee, an American yellow Lab, live in Allston. Tom has worked with US Family Health Plan since 2011.
David Mendoza, Maj, USAF (Ret.)
Born and raised in western Massachusetts, Dave Mendoza joined the MA Air National Guard straight out of high school. An OEF/OIF veteran, he retired with nearly 30 years of military service. He and his family live in South Hadley, where Dave coaches and plays soccer, basketball, and baseball. He volunteers as President of the USO of Pioneer Valley and as Veterans Outreach Director for the Springfield Chapter of Team RWB.
James Souza, SFC, USA (Ret.)
Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Jim was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, right by Camp LeJeune. He grew up in Taunton, Massachusetts and joined the Army in 1985, where he served as a cook and a paratrooper. He likes to garden and cook (ask him about his cinnamon-raisin bread), and has a soft spot for classic cars, especially Camaros.
Mark Wasnock, SCPO, USN (Ret.)
Hanscom AFB and vicinity
Originally from Rochester, New York, Mark joined US Family Health Plan in 2010. He lives with his wife and daughter in Waltham, Massachusetts. Mark fishes whenever and wherever he gets the chance, mostly for bass and pike.
